Yelka
is out of our wonderful mare Nikita von Star Cross, who already
has two 1st Premie Star offspring - and a few more in the pipeline
that will make star!! Nikita is known for producing easy
going confident foals that are wonderful to handle. That is
not to say that they don't have spice and energy though! All of
Nikita's offspring are by Wander 352, and truly athletes. Yelka's
big sister Cameo in 2007 scored in the 70's often in
First Level dressage, and beat nearly fifty other horses of all breeds
at Dressage at Stone Tavern under Lisa Basselini to come away with 1st
Level Reserve Champion on Friday of the show, and 1st Level
Champion on Saturday!!! This year, Cameo and Lisa are
cleaning up at Second Level, with many blues, and scores in the
70's. Yelka's big brother Independence made his debut
in Training Level this year, with scores in the 70's and 80's, and
high score horse awards - Congratulations Indy and Adele!
